This masterclass centers itself on the famous wines of La Rioja. In this tasting, we take a look at the grapes that make up the DNA of Rioja and why they work so well. We open up some rare gems from Urbina including the 2000 ‘Seleccion,’ 2004 Gran Reserva and the 2006 Reserva Especial. We also open up the very rare and sought after Remelluri wine ‘El Granja' - one of Rioja’s most incredible wines produced by this 14th Century Estate at high elevation, valued at $230.
Hosted by Spanish wine expert Richie Ferguson, this Masterclass will leave you thoroughly educated and wanting to explore the versatile Rioja world even more.
